This is my diary and notes of the various conferences sponsored by the Economic Freedom Network (EFN) Asia, http://efnasia.org/. EFN Asia is a network of independent, non-government, free market-leaning think tanks, research institutes, academics and other scholars in Asia, advocating economic and individual freedom, free trade, rule of law along classical liberal philosophies.
The network was formed in 1998 by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF). I was introduced to the global free market movement only in 2004, and it was that year that I have heard and saw the people who comprised the network.
The early EFN Asia conferences that I attended, thanks to FNF and Jo Kwong of Atlas then.
